I have previously helped students (including adults) reach the following goals:

• communicating professionally in English, both speaking and writing
• building confidence before going to study in the UK/US
• advanced learners wishing to progress to native-level fluency
• developing a knowledge and appreciation of English literature
• being able to read US newspapers/magazines
• developing a deeper understanding of US/UK culture, society, and politics (International Relations/Politics students)
• improving their academic writing skills

Basically, if you wish to hear the English language used in the same way as a doctor, lawyer, or professor, and bring your own skills up to that level, then taking classes with me will give you that opportunity. Similarly, with regard to writing, I can help students reach the level of an undergraduate or graduate student, explain the principles of academic writing, help with critical thinking, and so on.
